Refund & Return Policy
We want you to feel comfortable trying a Beamtendon program. This page sets out exactly how refunds and cancellations work, so there are no surprises. If anything is unclear, please reach out through the Contact page and we will walk you through it.
1. Overview
Different products have different cancellation windows because the costs we incur to deliver them vary. The general principle is simple: the earlier you tell us, the easier it is to provide a full refund. We try to be reasonable in genuine exceptional circumstances even when these terms would suggest otherwise.
2. Quiet Start Kit (self-guided digital workbook)
- Full refund available within 14 days of purchase, provided fewer than 30% of the lessons have been accessed.
- After 14 days, refunds are at our reasonable discretion.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval.
3. Guided Six-Week Plan
- Full refund if you cancel before the first session begins.
- If you cancel after the first session but within the first two weeks, we refund 60% of the price.
- After the end of the second week, refunds are not available, but we will transfer your enrolment to a future cohort if you let us know in writing within four weeks of the original start date.
4. Offline Weekend Retreat
- Full refund (minus a 5% admin fee) if you cancel more than 30 days before the start date.
- 50% refund if you cancel between 14 and 30 days before the start date.
- No refund if you cancel within 14 days of the start date, however we will offer to apply 50% of the amount paid to a future retreat held within 12 months.
- If we cancel a retreat for any reason, you receive a full refund, including any non-refundable admin fee.
5. How to request a refund
- Write to us using the email address shown on the Contact page.
- Include the program name, your order reference and a brief explanation of the reason for cancellation.
- We acknowledge requests within two working days and aim to issue approved refunds within seven working days.
6. Transferring your place
If you cannot attend a cohort or retreat, you may transfer your place to another person at any point before the start date, free of charge. Please send us their name and email address so we can update our records and send them the joining details.
7. Force majeure
If we cannot deliver a program because of events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, travel restrictions or significant public-health measures, we will offer either a postponement to a later date or a full refund. We will communicate options as soon as possible.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it together. Filing a chargeback before contacting us slows the process for everyone and may temporarily restrict your account while the dispute is investigated.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our programs or pricing structure. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates the current version. Existing bookings continue to be governed by the policy in force at the time the booking was made.
10. Talk to us
We would rather have a short conversation than apply a policy rigidly. If something has come up and you are unsure where it fits, please get in touch through the Contact page and we will do our best to find a fair outcome.
